Group License Information Frequently Asked Questions What is a Group License? A Group License offers a discounted rate to any group of 5 or more teachers for 9 or more months. For pricing information, see abceng.org/plans. A Group License is designed to be flexible. Your organization can set up a Group License for a certain number of accounts, and have teachers move in and out of the slots as needed. You can also request to add extra teachers to the Group later on if needed. How do I set up a Group License? Fill out the Group Set Up Form. This form can also be found under the "Group License" heading at abceng.org/plans. How do I find my Group License Join Link? A unique Join Link will be created for your Group. This link will be sent in an email message to the Group administrator on the day that the Group License is created. Note: If you don't know your Group License Join Link, contact your Group administrator. If the Group administrator can't find the email with the Join Link, have the administrator email [email protected] to have it resent. How do I add a teacher to a Group License? Each teacher will need to follow these steps so they can get connected to your group. Connecting to the Group is a one-time process. Step 1. Click on the Group License Join Link. You'll find this link in an email message from abc English to the Group Administrator. Step 2. After you click on the Join Link, follow one of these options:
Can I get a list of teachers who are currently connected to my Group License? Email [email protected] to request a current list. Unfortunately, there isn't yet a way for the Group Administrator to pull up this information on their own. How do I remove a teacher from a Group License? Send a message to [email protected] with the names and/or email addresses of any accounts you would like to disconnect from your Group License and I can take care of this for you. Alternatively, you can ask a teacher to remove themselves from a Group License. They will need to sign in to their account at abceng.org, choose the Account link at the bottom of the page, then select View or Cancel Plans. Can teachers access the resources while we're waiting for the Group License to be set up? While your organization is in the process of getting a Group License set up, teachers can gain access to the resources right away by signing up for a Free 30-Day Trial. Once the Group License is set up, it is an easy process to connect an existing Free Trial account to a Group account (see "add a teacher" above). Can I add extra accounts to our Group License at a later date? You can add extra teachers to an existing Group License any time you need more spaces. Email your request to [email protected] and you will receive a quote within one to two business days. The cost to add a teacher to an existing Group License will be prorated to match the Group's current expiration date. For example, if you have four months left on your current Group License, it will cost the monthly rate x four months to add an extra teacher to your group. How do I find our Group License expiration date? Login at abc English using any account that is connected to your Group License. Find the Account link at the bottom of the page, then choose View or Cancel Plans to see the expiration date. How do I renew a Group License? Group Licenses do not automatically renew. 14 days before your Group License expiration date, each account connected to the Group will receive an automatic reminder message via email to alert you that the Group License will be expiring soon. If you'd like to renew your Group License, please have the Group administrator fill out the Group Set Up Form. This form can also be found under the "Group License" heading at abceng.org/plans.
