Reading Skills Stories
Reading Skills Stories are based on relevant, authentic topics for adult or adolescent English learners. The RSS lesson slideshows include a Grammar section for each story, Word Sort and Multisyllabic Word activities, and finish with Conversation & Writing practice. Audio activities are embedded within each lesson slideshow as well. You can find a Printable Packet for each story on the last slide of the lesson slideshow.
Reading Skills Stories are recommended for students who have already learned some basic phonics skills (students who are literate in their home language, or students who have completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Phonics lessons).
